It doesn't take into account things like we have a soul or that our bodies may only exist as carriers for our microbiome (my children love to gross out their friends by explaining that they are only human immediately after going for a poo because the rest of the time their human cells are outnumbered by microbial cells).
It doesn't take into account that our bodies will always try to heal themselves (my lap top definitely doesn't do that!).
Invention arises out of hardship and necessity and faith, compassion and love are powerful forces that can change the world.
So let's imagine an alternative brave new world, where instead of medicines, weapons and corruption, time and money are spent on improving the lives of people who lack nutritious food, clean water and adequate shelter and where GDP has been replaced by measures such as the health and wellbeing of the population, diversity of plants and animals, time spent on music, literature and art, recycling in the country where items are used, development of new technologies for transport and celebration of our differences.
It might not be easy, but it is possible now that 'the people' are connected (just don't let on to Bill he might think he has done a good thing).
The tortuous funding underneath all these groups likely all end up with the same billionaires with odd thoughts about humanity. Much like hiding their wealth from the government via tax exempt foundations or innumerable shell corporations. It took Mueller many millions to get at Manafort's empire. Pity our corrupt MSM isn't interested in these funders.
